The New Moon is tonight, Saturday or tomorrow, Sunday depending on where you live in the world.
Energetically the New Moon is a time of manifestation, to state your goals and set your intentions as the moon waxes up to the Full Moon in two weeks time. At the Full Moon, we then go through the process of letting go and releasing all that no longer serves us.
As we go through this cycle each month; declaring our intentions, then releasing and clearing; when we consciously do this work with intention, it brings us more into vibrational alignment with who we authentically are at a Soul level.
Manifest your goals by connecting your Centre of Creativity with your Heart Space
Take a few moments to focus on your breath; breathe in and out through your Heart Chakra (Anahata). Imagine a green light radiating out from your Heart Chakra; and your Heart Space filling with this beautiful green light. Then consciously connect your Heart Chakra to your Sacral Chakra (Svadisthana), which is your seat of creativity and manifestation. Visualise orange light flowing in and out of your Sacral Chakra. Put one hand on each Chakra and feel the energy flow between them with each breath.
As you breathe in and out, take a moment to pause in the stillness of the space in between your breaths. You will find much learning and healing here in the silence between breaths.
When you feel centred and calm, from your Heart Space declare your intentions, state your goals, affirm what you want to attract into your life. Don’t just say the words, feel the vibration of what you are declaring resonate from deep within you.
This New Moon process can be potently powered up with SELF-LOVE.
Once we have sent forth our declarations to the Universe, practicing self-love every day helps to keep our vibration high and in tune with what we want to attract into our lives. It can be as simple as taking a walk along the beach, dancing or singing to our favourite music, treating yourself to a bath infused with essential oils and crystals, taking time out with a cuppa to read a good book… whatever makes you feel nurtured, pampered and supported.
Finish up this process by Grounding yourself.
- Put your bare feet on the earth. Visualise a beam of white light coming from the Universe down through your Crown Chakra, along your spine through each of your Chakras, then out of your Base Chakra, down through your legs and your feet, going right down into the earth. Spend a few moments breathing the energy from the earth, up through your feet to your Base Chakra, then back down into the earth again. When you are ready, visualise roots growing from your feet into the earth, all the way to the core of the earth, growing thicker and stronger with each breath.
- Use two pieces of black tourmaline, hematite, smoky quartz or black onyx. Put one in your receiving hand and one between your feet. Focus on your breath for a few moments until you feel calm and centred.
- Take a bottle of energy clearing Sage Smudge Spray. Stand with your weight evenly on both feet, consciously feel your feet on the ground, then hold the bottle of Sage Smudge Spray high above your head and give it a couple of sprays… letting the droplets float down through your energetic body and onto your physical body… and breathe deeply the scent of the spray… it has an instant calming and grounding effect… and things seem so much better in the world again…
